I’m so sorry to hear about Neil. I just found out this morning. I always enjoyed our chats whenever we bumped into each other on the street and his sense of humor. He would get that sparkle in his eye, and slightly crooked grin and I knew he was pulling my leg.
Thinking of you and the family. Such a huge loss.

Many condolences to Neil’s family, friends and colleagues. We had quite a lot of contact over the decades, especially in the earlier/WHO years as well as later when he was back in Canada and at international meetings. Like so many others I respected and admired him, appreciated his contributions over the years, and always enjoyed any contacts. A fine, creative and greatly respected public health campaigner, and a sad loss for us all.

A friend just showed me the obit for Neil in the Free Press. The flood of wonderful memories took me by surprise. Neil was my last ‘london west’ friend. I will miss him greatly. Condolences Barb to you and the family, please call or email me if you get a chance. Graham
