Steve Tamplin: A Breath of Fresh Air!
Dear Collishaw Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I met Neil in the late 1990’s when I began working on tobacco control in WHO’s Western Pacific Regional Office. We quickly became collleague-friends. He was indeed a “breath of fresh air” in a somewhat stilted international organization. Never afraid to speak his mind, but in a constructive way. A creative risk-taker, pragmatic and colleagial, with a wry sense of humor, he was a pleasure to work with and a source of encouragement to me. Although we eventually “lost touch,” I continue to treasure his memory. May it be so with you.
Peace,
Steve
